Asia Advisory Council Meeting Focuses on Stakeholder Experiences, Market Access
From October 22-24, 2013, the Asia Advisory Council took part in meetings and outreach sessions with government stakeholders and small businesses to learn more about what Albertans and the government are doing to succeed in Asia. The meetings included a day of presentations from government ministries that focus on market access in Asia, as well as a day of consultations with grassroots organizations and stakeholders interested in India and China. Council members also learned about agriculture and agri-foods from industry associations, and took part in the Asia Pacific Foundation’s (APF) National Conversation on Asia public panel discussion on “Preparing Alberta for the Asian Century.” To read more about the Asia Advisory Council’s meeting and outreach sessions, click here.
