Each of Alberta's 9 international offices is responsible for advancing Alberta’s advocacy, trade promotion, investment attraction and other interests, such as education and culture, in their respective geographic region:

- Hong Kong
- Japan
- Korea
- Mexico
- Taiwan
- United Kingdom
- United States (Washington, D.C.)
While all offices are responsible for these activities, each office’s mandate has been tailored to meet Alberta’s priorities within the region. For instance, the Alberta Washington Office focuses on advancing Alberta’s policy interest in the US while the other 8 international offices focus on trade promotion and investment attraction in priorities sectors, such as energy, tourism, agriculture, education and advanced industries.
