MLA Committee
In November 2003, Alberta's Premier established a government
MLA Committee on Strengthening Alberta's Role in Confederation.
Albertans were given the opportunity to be heard and provide their input to the committee on current relations between the province and the federal government and how the relationship can be strengthened and improved.
Thirteen forums were held across the province between January and March 2004. Over 700 submissions were received through the public forms, e-mails, letters, and telephone calls.
