Federal-Provincial Relations
Alberta meets with the federal government in a variety of forums. These include First Ministers' Meetings and Bilateral Alberta-Canada Meetings. The Intergovernmental Relations section is involved in the planning of these types of meetings and offers strategic support to Premier Stelmach and Cabinet Ministers.
A Senate nominee election was held at the same time as the provincial general election on November 22, 2004.
