Works with other Ministries to ensure a coordinated Alberta approach to intergovernmental relations, representing Alberta's interests in the Canadian federation. Areas of responsibility include: meetings of First Ministers, the Council of the Federation, Western Premiers and the Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia Cabinets; coordination of Alberta's overall international and domestic trade policy; fiscal, social, economic and resource policies; and other interprovincial and federal-provincial issues, including national unity.
