Minister Iris Evans attended the American Legislative Exchange Council annual meeting, where she spoke about Alberta’s role in North American energy security and met with U.S. lawmakers.

Premier Ed Stelmach and Advanced Education and Technology Minister Greg Weadick led a mission to Washington, D.C., and Boston, Massachusetts to support and promote Alberta’s biotechnology industry to an international audience, and to meet with political leaders, including the Governor of Massachusetts and academic and business leaders.
